View NAF:NATO All View
The NATO All View is one of the 7 NATO Architecture Framework Views.
NATO Architecture Framework v3, CHAPTER 1:
There are some overarching aspects of architecture that relate to all seven views. These overarching aspects are captured in the All-Views (NAV) products. The NAV products provide information pertinent to the entire architecture, but do not represent a distinct view of the architecture. NAV products set the scope and context of the architecture. The scope includes the subject area and timeframe for the architecture. The setting in which the architecture exists comprises the interrelated conditions that compose the context for the architecture.
These conditions include:
- doctrine
- tactics,
- techniques
- procedures;
- relevant goals and vision statements;
- concepts of operations;
- scenarios;
- environmental conditions.
Covered by NATO release conditions.
The NATO All View in NAF has the following 3 sub views:
- NAV-1 Overview and Summary Information Subview
- NAV-2 Integrated Dictionary Subview
- NAV-3 Metadata Subview
This set is similar to that in the MODAF All Views Viewpoint.
There are in 47 subviews defined in the NATO Architecture Framework.
