In TRAK an Interaction Element is not limited to representing information - it may be data, energy or materiel. This is different to both MODAF and DODAF.

Do not assign any particular format or method to the quantity that the Interaction Element represents - this is achieved using Protocol either 1) implemented by the Port or 2) used by the Port Connection that realises the Resource Interaction that carries the Interaction Element.

Master Architecture View

Any Interaction Element used within an architecture description of the system-of-interest must appear on a SV-02 Solution Resource Interaction View for the architecture description.

The SV-02 is the Master Architecture View for Interaction Element.
