There seems to be a significant overlap between system safety and system security. Concepts such as Risk, Threat, Vulnerabilty on the security side but Risk, Hazard, Failure and Accident on the safety side.
Clearly enterprise architecture views only have so much utility. On the other hand they can be useful for discovering and establishing relationships and integrating with more specialist tools sets or models produced by these other tools.
Would EA views be useful in the management of system safety and system security and if so, what might they address?
